Sport Matters Too

We have always believed that the quality of teaching and learning is the key indicator of success in the schools we manage, but that doesn’t mean it is the only thing that matters.

Sports and play are also integral to life in our schools and in that respect we are fortunate to have had the support of All4Ball, a local organisation which provides sports opportunities for young people in under-privileged communities.

In recent years, through our partnership with All4Ball, we have been able to provide:

New sports facilities in our schools, including multipurpose playgrounds, a basketball court and table tennis tables.

Sports ‘libraries’ full of sports equipment and materials.

Training programmes in football, basketball and cricket to enhance students’ fitness, skills, discipline and teamwork.

Half-day or one-day sports clinics led by national-level coaches and players to inspire students and build their sporting and teamwork skills.

Annual sports events, with a focus on increasing student enrolment, strengthening student leadership and encouraging community engagement.

A Youth Ambassador Fellowship programme through which selected students receive regular sports training and the opportunity to further develop their leadership skills.
