CSN has been managing public schools in Nepal in partnership with local government for over 10 years.

Students in CSN-managed school progress at twice the speed of students in comparable schools, according to an independent research.

We currently manage eight schools; five in Kathmandu and three in the municipality of Abu Khaireni, about four hours drive south of the capital.

We signed an agreement with local government, which gives us the authority for all the day-to-day operations of our schools.

We introduce a school improvement plan, which has four elements – improving the quality of management, teaching, community relations and infrastructure.

We place two School Leaders in each school, who work full-time alongside the existing staff, to lead the transformation process.

School management is the foundation of what we do, and all our other work has grown out of our experience of working full-time in these schools, alongside the existing teachers.
